Purpose: Students will be instructed in various types of rope, rope rescue equipment and usage. Students will learn basic rappelling, tie-offs, patient packaging, belay systems and mechanical systems.

Purpose: Students will rappel using a rack system and tie offs. Students will learn how to pass an obstruction in their rope system and how to change to another rope system if the their line becomes unstable.
